Position Title – Regional Sales Account Manager

Southland Printing Company is looking for a dedicated sales professional with strong new business development skills to join our sales team as a Regional Sales Account Manager and work to create new partnerships with Parking Management Companies.

 We are looking for someone who lives in/near New York, Atlanta, etc., who will work remotely from their home office and travel throughout the East Coast Region.

Our Regional Sales Account Managers know their way around the printing industry and have an established foothold in their region. Our team works smart and hard in a fast-paced, innovative environment. They grow revenue for the company while earning significant sales commission for themselves.

This new Regional Sales Account Manager will take on a territory with huge potential and we’ll look to them to leverage their proven sales track record and take their territory to a high level of success. Along with their manager, the RAM will develop a strategic territory plan to identify where to best focus their most valuable resource: their time!

Position Title – Customer Service Representative

Responsible for serving existing customers by selling products and meeting customer needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist assigned Sales Account Manager with internal customer support, and to ensure timely and accurate quote preparation.
  • Handle calls from Sales Account Managers in assigned areas.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts.
  • Ensure clients request and needs are identified and satisfied.
  • Enlist the support of Sales Department, sales team resources, production resources, and other management resources as needed.
  • Works closely with the Sales Manager, Sales Support Supervisor, Regional Sales Managers, and other Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Receive and answer calls from the clients or client service units in relation to the clients request or questions; Answer the client’s questions and ensure their problems are resolved; conduct follow-up tasks.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product specifications.
  • Recommends new products and services to up sell/cross sell products to customers.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management.
  • Perform additional assignments as required.

Computer/Office Skills:

  • Good skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; keyboarding and data entry skills; ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new software programs quickly.
  • Ability to use a variety of office equipment to include computers, calculators, fax machine, copiers, and printers.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • College degree in related field preferred or two (2) years related data entry experience, account/project management experience, customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Title – Contract Administrator

Coordinate and review the formulation and finalization of contracts as required with management. Ensure compliance of appropriate regulations. Research and prepare analysis as required.

  • Serve as point person throughout the contracts process regarding material terms and conditions and other issues.
  • Search out bids through bid software and contact municipalities for placement on vendor list.
  • Review and negotiate contractual details, including specifications, price, date of delivery and contractual provisions.
  • Complete bid forms and supplements.
  • Maintain and monitor contract files to ensure compliance with company policy.
  • Track deadlines such as contract expirations and notice periods and set up reminders.
  • Maintain customer and vendor contract databases to include all agreements and other applicable negotiated documentation.
  • Type memos, letters and listings as required.
  • Verify and complete contract packages for final execution.
  • Perform additional assignments as required.

Computer/Office Skills:

  • Strong skills in Adobe/PDF, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; basic keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Ability to use a variety of office equipment to include computers, calculators, fax machine, copiers, and printers.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree in related field preferred or 2+ years of administrative assistant or commercial sales contracts experience.
  • Some experience with professional services agreements and state and local government contracts is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and General Services Administration processes helpful.


Position Title – Maintenance Technician

Southland Printing Company is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician with an emphasis in electronics and machining to support the production and operation needs of the Shreveport Manufacturing Facility.  The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for install, maintain, repair and/or rebuild any equipment in the Building or Plant Complex, doing so in line with company guidelines, product quality and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety, and environment are never compromised.


  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair all production, material handling and utility equipment. Perform component rebuilds as needed.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair or replace equipment and devices as necessary.
  • Participate in the development, design, fabrication, installation, and testing of new equipment or upgrades.
  • Help maintain an orderly inventory of repair parts and supplies and order supplies, spare parts, and material as needed.
  • Complete and maintain proper documentation of tasks performed.
  • Follow all OSHA rules, including MSDS, lock-out/tag-out.
  • Assist in other work areas as required meeting production demands. 
  • Other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager.


  • High school diploma or GED required. Two-year formalized training/trade school strongly preferred. Experience in Machinist related duties is a plus. 
  • Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing of production and utilities equipment.
  • General knowledge of electrical systems, water systems, mechanical equipment and HVAC systems - knowledge of presses and compressed air systems are a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Forklift certification desired but not required.


  • Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn specific computer programs related to certain equipment.  Experience in AutoCAD desirable.
  • Sound verbal and written communication and math skills
  • Motivated self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to receive instructions;  follow directions and company policies and procedures.

Position Title – Bindery Support Specialist

Summary of Duties – Responsible for packaging printed products produced on a printing press.

Skills/Qualifications – Minimum age of 18. Good eye hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to use small hand tools and finishing equipment. Accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation and proofing of various documents and correspondence. Moderate mechanical aptitude – Some troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.  Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly. Moderate mathematical skills – Ability to use a variety of hand held measuring devices; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including metrics, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Must be able to distinguish between colors.

 Summary of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all packaging of printed material produced on the assigned press.  Must be willing to work at a reasonable pace to keep up with the product being delivered.
  • Review complete job jacket regarding specific bindery requirements and act accordingly.
  • Review printed orders to make sure that they correspond to job jackets and are packed correctly.
  • Carefully review printed product for quality and defects and report such to pressman.
  • Review labels and shipping instructions for accuracy and deliver finished product to assigned areas.
  • Pull supplies as requested by pressman.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of equipment.
