Position Title – Administrative Assistant (Sales Department)

We are searching for candidates to fill an Administrative Assistant position in our Sales department. Would be responsible for handling Sales department administrative duties, this candidate must also have a general understanding of social media platforms and how to update them.

REGULAR WORK SCHEDULE

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

·         Schedule includes one hour lunch as assigned by the Department Manager

·         Depending on business needs, additional Overtime may be required before or after your regularly scheduled work hours and on Weekends.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe.  Basic keyboarding and data entry skills.  Ability and willingness to learn; and adapt to new software programs quickly.

  • Basic skills in management of social media platforms.  Basic keyboarding and data entry skills.  Ability and willingness to learn; and adapt to new software programs quickly.

  • Highly proficient in office administrative processes and procedures to include recordkeeping, information security, correspondence, and clerical tasks.

  • Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal skills.  Ability to write clear and concise correspondence, documentation, and reports; Ability to verbally communicate well with others such as customers, vendors, and associates.

  • High School diploma or equivalent; 2 to 4 years secretarial/administrative experience.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and Department including (but not limited to) the composition, typing, copying, distribution and filing of all forms of correspondence.

  • Assist the Sales Manager and Sales Team in the management of the schedules by coordinating business, civic, and personal meetings, appointments, and travel.

  • Update company website and other social media platforms as required keeping content fresh and current. Manage these social channels including daily content creation, publishing, monitoring and reporting.

  • Plan, execute, and optimize social media advertisements across platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Twitter.

Position Title – Press Assistant

Summary of Duties – Responsible for packaging printed products produced on a printing press.

Skills/Qualifications – Minimum age of 18. Good eye hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to use small hand tools and finishing equipment. Accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation and proofing of various documents and correspondence. Moderate mechanical aptitude – Some troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.  Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly. Moderate mathematical skills – Ability to use a variety of hand held measuring devices; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including metrics, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Must be able to distinguish between colors.
