How do I place an order?
We are here to take your order personally Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm Central Time. Before or after hours, please feel free to call (800) 241-8662 and leave us a message and we’ll call you back within 24 hours. You can also Email firstname.lastname@example.org or fax (318) 221-8738 your order in as well.
I do not know what kind of ticket I am using. Where can I find this information?
If you have an old invoice from Southland Printing the Brand/MODEL of the ticket is listed on the invoice. If you do not have an invoice, call or Email Southland Printing and ask one of our Sales Representatives for assistance. You will be asked your order location and the location name. You may also use the help form on this website.
How do I pay for my order?
You can pay by check or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also offer open billing upon credit approval. Please inquire with one of our Sales Representatives if you would like to open an account with us.
I do not know all the information that is required to complete an order. What do I do?
Call or Email Southland Printing and ask one of our Sales Representatives for assistance. Relay the location you are trying to order for and the location name. If it is a repeat order, we will review the previous product order with you for confirmation. If it is a new order, we will assist you in determining the information needed to complete the order (i.e., ink, copy, logo, etc.)
What is the Southland Printing Form Number and where do I find it?
Southland Printing Form Number is a unique number assigned and printed on each ticket. The Form Number is found on the side with the ticket numbers and is usually located by the Southland Printing imprint. The number will begin with 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8, and will be five to seven digits in length. Some Form Numbers can have an alpha suffix. The Form Number will remain the same on each order until there is a change made to the ticket copy. A new Form Number will be assigned with the new copy.
I asked for colored tickets and one side of the ticket is the color I requested but the other side is white. Why?
You have a thermal coated ticket. The thermal coating cannot be “colored” as it will cause problems with your equipment’s print head. Southland Printing will only “color” the non-thermal side of a thermal ticket.
How is my order shipped?
A complete address must be submitted for delivery. (A P.O. box is not an acceptable address.) The method of shipping will depend upon your shipping address and the total weight of the shipment. On every order, we check with all of our motor freight carriers and UPS package service to find the carrier that is the least expensive. We can ship your order for blank tickets overnight if ordered by 12:00 p.m. (CST). For our export customers we can ship by land, sea or air direct to your door or the closest port.
In need of a Rush (Domestic Only) Order?
If you need your order in a rush (less than 15 working days), a $200.00 Rush charge will be applied to your order. A Southland Sales Representative will confirm with our production department the availability to complete the order. If a Rush job can be placed in production, the Sales Representative will confirm with you.
How do I know if a ticket has been printed by Southland Printing before?
“SOUTHLAND PRINTING – SHREVEPORT LA.” is printed on all tickets along with the Form Number. The only time the Southland Printing imprint is not printed on a ticket would be when a location requests that the imprint not be printed on their tickets.
I have a new ticket order, what do I need to do?
Make a rough drawing of what you would like printed and attach it to the order. If you have a ticket and you want to change it, make a copy of the ticket and write the changes on the copy, then attach it to the order.
Will I see a proof of my ticket before it is printed?
If you are ordering a new ticket we will send a proof to you for your approval within four working days. We cannot begin the production process until we receive your approval of the proof. Southland Printing does not send proofs on repeat orders. Proofs are not automatically sent especially for “copy changes”.
How do I know you will print my order correctly?
Every order has an Order Verification sent to the Email address you supply us when placing your order. Please review the Order Verification to see that we have entered your order correctly. If no error, there is no need to contact us as the order is being processed. On the rare occasion that you do find an error, please contact us immediately and tell us what needs to be corrected.
How long does it take to receive a ticket order?
Repeat orders, production will take 20 working days from the date the order is received. New orders, from the date the proof approval is received, production will take 20 working days.
What is the difference between a Logo and Artwork?
A logo is the image or icon the company uses in place, or in addition to the company name. Artwork is additional text added to the ticket, other than the logo. There is a onetime charge every time a new logo is used. If you have a question about a logo or artwork please call Southland Printing at (800) 241-8662.
Do I need a mylar-reinforced hole?
If you are using the hole to hang the ticket from a peg or nail, a mylar-reinforced hole is unnecessary as our standard stock is of high quality and does not tear easily, except at the perforations. If you are tying a set of keys to the hole you may want to consider mylar-reinforcing the hole. There is a slight upcharge for this added feature.
